The Prime Minister had shared captivating images of his visit to Lakshadweep. Expressing evident displeasure over the increased global attention on Lakshadweep since PM Modi’s post, Zahid Rameez, a council member of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), took a derisive stance, dismissing the significance of the Prime Minister’s visit and asserting that India could never rival Maldives in the realm of tourism.
